The Story of Kastenessen (SECOND CHRON SPOILERS)

I'm reading The One Tree at this time and Findail's story of the Appointed raised me a question, will this threat to the Earth (the crust of the Earth being riven) be addressed in the Third Chrons? Will Linden help the Elohim HEAL IT? Just an idea I thought was cool.....
Oooh oooh!!!! What if it turns out that Linden was the woman that Kastenessen HELD IN THRALL? Just thought it was a cool idea.....

It's been a while since I read TOT (it's coming up in the re-read pile though
)
Wasn't the Worm of the World's End the cause of what Findail saw - ie. the earth being riven? Or did that story come after the One Tree?

That would be mind blowing! (And I expect mind blowing things to happen)
But the woman was in love with Kastenessen, and I doubt if Linden has any love to give to someone other than Covenant.
