Does anyone know if Del Rey has any plans to re-release the first two Covenant trilogies in hardback, say 1 hardback for each trilogy. I know they did this for Terry Brooks' Shannara books and for the first half of Eddings' Belgariad series.

Thanks,

Brad

In hard back I don't think so.

The best place to check for all this stuff is stephenrdonaldson.com, though.

Why do I see a hardcover edition, printed in 2004, which contains all three books in one volume, on Ebay?

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... eName=WDVW

In case this link goes stale, it says
ebay wrote:Item Specifics - Fiction & Nonfiction Books
Format: Hardcover
Category: Fiction & Literature
Publication Year: 2004
Condition: New

Up For Bid, A NEW COPY OF A 3 IN ONE VOLUME HARDBACK BOOK, THE FIRST CHRONICLES OF THOMAS COVENANT THE UNBELIEVER BY STEPHEN R DONALDSON, THE SCI FI TRILOGY 3 VOLUMES IN ONE BOOK, TITLES INCLUDED ARE LORD FOULS BANE, THE ILLEARTH WAR AND THE POWER THAT PRESERVES, 863 pages
I'll see if it is on amazon or b+n ...

All I could find was this over on amazon:

ISBN: 073942548X Chron I Science Ficton Book Club; (2002)
ISBN: 0739435582 Chron II Science Ficton Book Club; (2003)

Both are listed as hardcover, both seem to be 3-in-1 editions, sci fi book club. Perhaps they re-released?

I'd post the amazon links, but they wouldn't work for you. Simple enough to find, search for "thomas covenant".

Yeah, if you look at the picture of the cover you see the SFBO logo. Sounds like the Sci-FI book club re-releaseed them.

Hey, Brad! :-)

Yes - the Science Fiction Book Club released them a couple years ago. All six books in two volumes. We finally got a good look at the covers at Elohimfest. STILL no idea what that plate thing is. heh heh.
