Here's the feel-good topic of the year (as long as you don't count the recent ones about babes). I'd have to go with Harrison on this. Really shined the brightest near the end, with songs like "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun". John and Paul are tied for me, making a close second.

Not only do I like his George's Beatle songs the most, his solo stuff is far superior to the others in my opinion. Not to mention his contributions to the Traveling Wilburry's(sp)

Had Lennon not made Plastic Ono Band, I'd be inclined to oh so agree, Byrn. All Things Must Pass is amazing! I sometimes wish The Beatles had stay in for one more album. George, John, and Paul could’ve pooled together their stronger solo tracks to form a killer LP.

I've always liked McCartney the best, but Harrison is a close second.

Pete Best Rocks! His very name makes comparisons irrelevant. :D

Maybe Pete's name was the reason John kicked him in the head.

It's a toss-up in my mind between Paul and George, but for the sake of the almighty poll, I give my vote to George. The "quiet" Beatle's demeanor was one that I identified with, and his Beatles songs tended to have a melancholy air about them that I related strongly to.

On the other hand, I respect Paul because he is such a generous and steady soul. Is there a more level-headed person than Paul McCartney in the music business? Through the years, he hasn't allowed his enormous fame and fortune to turn him into a monster or caricature of himself (*cough*Michael Jackson*cough*) and he continues to push himself to make music. Oh yes, he's also one heck of an underrated bass player. Just check out the bass groove on the Beatles' "Day Tripper." 8)

Welcome back, Rivenrock. Haven't seen you around these parts for a while. :)

Well, I never envisioned Keanu as a Haruchai, but he certainly has the physical skills to pull it off, after all the intense martial arts training he did for The Matrix. Maybe just clone him several hundred times (a la Agent Smith) and you've got your Bloodguard army. 8)

I voted Lennon, my preferred half of the Beatles songwriting team that truly made them great. Plus, I am fond of some of his solo work, notably the song Insant Karma. :D I love that song.
