God i hate to get all political again, i know its bad for me, but still;

The Butler Inquiry, Whitewash or Wot?

Should Tony Blair resign, or, as Lord Butler said, should 'collective responsibility be taken' (meaning no one should lose their jobs)? Discuss.

The man has to go, along with his knuckle-dragging cronies. i favour a turn to proportional representation and a sun-bed orange skinned Scot (We love you Tommy!)

At this point, if he had one bone of integrity left in his body, TB ought to go. :x

He got us into this on the basis of the threat of WMD. That threat has been shown to be false (no surprises there!). He specifically said that it wasn't about regime change, but is now justifying himself by saying what a jolly good thing it is that we've changed the regime. All of which I could tolerate as his being honestly mis-informed if only he'd for once admit that he was wrong.

As for the Butler report...put it like this, Lord Butler can come around and touch up my doors and windows any time he likes. :evil:

I think Tony Blair ought to resign on principle. Most employers would require a resignation (or would sack them) if one of their employees made such a heinous error of judgement. The only question is; is there anyone of suitable calibre to replace him? After all, Robin Cook has gone...

You know, there is a place for all this political stuff. I think it's in the Collective. ANyway, this post has been brought to you be the "Add A 'Q' Game" the newest and brightest Game in Mallory! Yes, the "Add A 'Q' Game" ; deceptively simple, yet simply deceptive. "Add A 'Q' Game" by Brilton Madly.

I think Blair probably should resign, but considering that his replacement would most likely be Gordon Brown I hope he doesn't.

it's a conundrum alwite. maybe we shud stand 4 office? i could be Minister for Transport - i'd get to play with the trains all day.

Maybe we should actually give the Queen some political power. She would make alright decisions - she has no special interest backers and shes already super rich so couldn't be bribed. She could tax the rich and give money to the plebs.
