Which is greater, the fool; or the fool that follows?

Well, which is it? The fool; or the fool that follows? I think it's time we answered this question. I say the fool. No, wait; the fool who follows. What exactly is the fool following, anyway? If they're both fools, what does it matter who is leading and who is following?

Anyway, as you can see, the teachings of the Jedi are often circular and sometimes a little confusing. This is the place to discuss them, analize them, and tell us what your favourite Jedi phrase is. To me, it's a combination of two: Obi-Wan telling Luke to trust his feelings, and Vader telling Luke to give in to them; sounds like the two are offering the same advice!

Clearly its the tool I mean the fool who follows. How dumb can you be? Especially if the idiot you are following leaps over a cliff right in front of you. :D

But, if you're a fool, how can you be expected to understand that the one you're following is also a fool?

I think your question makes my point for me.

You had a point? Scary. Anyway, what's your favourite Jedi-ism?

Obviously its "There is no try." :D

"Do or do not. There is no try" Yes. Good one. But, how can there be no "try"? I try to imagine a world with no "try" in it, but the attempt itself is "trying", and so the attempt fails before it starts. Still, if he means that one will only be remembered for his successes or failures, then I guess he has a point.

I took that legendary comment from Yoda to mean.."Stop being a dink and do it already! I'm sick of your self doubt and constant whining! Do you hear?!?"

Well, it looks like we have this thread to ourselves.....perhaps if we included great Vulcan sayings, we'd attract more attention.

I think the fool who follows the fool is worse... The Fool think he's actions are probably good. :S heh. :P The fool who follows should fall over and die somewhere... :P bah!

With the addition of Rev there is no need to add Vulcan clap trap. Although there is something to be said about "Live long and prosper". I can't realy argue with that. "May the Force be with you." Bah.

But the fool who follows is just agreeing with the fool, proving they're both equally foolish! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :faint:

Remember the philosophical question we are discussing was espoused by a proven filthy liar. Food for thought.

I agree with Lord Revan that the greater fool is the one who follows. But that means I'm in agreement with Ben Kenobi, which means I'm a liar, which means you can't trust what I say. You're right, dAN, this is all circular and confusing.

But does this mean I'm the fool for following you guys into this thread? Maybe I should fall over and die somewhere, as Darth recommends.

(falls over and dies...to be resurrected in a crappy sequel)

:LOLS: Dead folks just aren't safe from deadlier screenwriters...

...and hey, CovJr, save the bowing for Lord Revan. No one has bowed to him for a while, I don't think. He may find our lack of faith disturbing. :)
