Double-dip of chocolate on a waffle cone usually does it for me (although, I like tons of other flavors).

Vanilla, plain. And in a bowl, none of those hippy cones for me. NO SIR.

New flavor! Vainilla! It's delicious... and immovable! Just try to move it! Not even three Giants were powerful enough to get a spoonfull!

We have both Cold Stone Creamery (www.coldstonecreamery.com/main/index.asp) and Marble Slab Creamery (www.marbleslabcreamery.com/) here in Gator Town. They're both good, but I prefer a core sundae with Phish Food and Coconut Almond Fudge Chip from my local Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shop.

Last time I had some ice cream was about two weeks ago. It was a double dip of rocky road in a waffle cone. The ice cream filled the entire cone, and it was quite a massive cone. Heavenly!

Ben & Jerry's Phish Food is a most heavenly flavor. And the name is so weird, that my kids won't get into it, which means it can be mine all mine.   Another Ben & Jerry's flavor I like is Chubby Hubby. 8)

My favorite is Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia but there is very little of any ice cream I would turn my nose up to!

How have I missed this thread??? Ice cream is like the nectar of the Gods to me, and the reason why I look like the Michelin Man today.

My all-time favorite is the seasonal Baskin-Robbins strawberry cheesecake, which I lovingly refer to as "Frozen Prozac" because no matter how low I feel, eating that makes me feel better. The only thing better than strawberry cheesecake ice cream is the rare Baskin Robbins blueberry cheesecake, which I'm sure will be served on the buffet line in Heaven.

Store bought ice cream? Sometimes you just can't beat Breyer's vanilla bean - especially when it's covered with Smucker's Butterscotch topping. droooll

We have a mom-pop ice cream place here called Po-Ho's. She makes a thing called a muffin burst - a piece of homemade double chocolate cake (still warm from the oven) with vanilla ice cream, smothered in double fudge topping. Put a cup of that on top of your head, and your tongue will slap your brains out a-trying to get to it.

My wife has a recipe for homemade cookies and cream ice cream that you would swear came straight from Haagen-Daaz. GLORY!

Had 2 scoops of Marble Slab double chocolate ice cream while waiting in line to see the midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith, and thought to myself "Life is Good!"

dlb, you sound cooler all the time! :)

I'm primarily a chocoholic, and Baskin Robbins' Rocky Road is about as good as it gets! Delicious DARK chocolate!! Häagen-Dazs has a great chocolate with peanut butter swirled in it that is now only available at their stands. (And their Dulce de Leche is among the world's greatest non-chocolate treats!) Turkey Hill's Death By Chocolate is slammin'!

Maybe some of us will make the trip to Cold Stone in August? heh

I got a guide book to NYC that's specifically for families -- and it lists every Cold Stone in the city.

LOL!

Tell them it's named for the rock band Phish. That might get them to try it.

After all, it is named for the rock band Phish!

I just found out yesterday that Cold Stone offered free samples of five new flavors on Saturday from 10:00 AM to noon or 2:00 PM or some such. Figures I would find out the day after the offer...
