Paintings of The Land...

Nearly twenty years ago, when I was first immersed in The Land, a girl I was crazy about pulled me into the library to show me a book full of gorgeous illustrations covering a variety of fantasy writers. I remember there were several outstanding paintings of The Land--paintings that were not book covers but an artist's conception of several events or scenes from the Covenant books. Does ANYONE have any idea what that book might have been? I have tried for years to bring any clue back to mind, but all my searches have been so far fruitless.

Hail Deven, welcome to the Watch
The book you are referring too is probably "Realms of Fantasy". On the cover is a brilliant depiction of Moorcock's Melnibone. There are illustrations of Andelain, Foul's Creche, Coercri and Kevin's Watch from the Chrons. There are also illustrations from Earthsea, Middle-Earth, Ghromeghast, The Lost World, Atlantis, Mars and Urth. I got my copy years ago from the SFBC, but you may be able to find it on E-Bay or possibly Amazon, B&N, etc...

Check out the Gallery, a number of the Realms paintings are there.
That's it! My search is over!

I should not be surprised I suppose. Thanks!
