FanFic!

Any chance for the little FanFic section of the Watch to come about, Vain? I honestly don't have much else I'd like to show except a part of another book, and I don't know who else would be interested in writing. But heck, I think it'd be fun if we had one of those posts where someone started a story and then another person picks it up and runs with it, and so on, and so on. And we could always write original stories, etc. and post them on the Watch. Then again, this place is primarily about The Man and not amateur writing!

Wooops. Missed another
I have no idea how FanFic works but I'd happily put a fanfic forum into The Collective as long as you're up to moderating it
I'm not sure if it can be covered under Duchess's Hall of Gifts (short fiction) or whether it becomes a long story after a while??
I'm new to all this so please enlighten me

I do believe the Duchess's board is very much the board I was speaking of, so I'm satisfied. But in the case of true "FanFic", then on a FanFic board we'd be doing stories strongly or loosely related to Covenant, the Land, etc. They could be long stories or whatnot. Oh--and there’s that thing where someone posts a couple paragraphs or so of a story and then the next person continues it--a larger version of the 5-word story we currently have going.... I don't really think there's a need for a FanFic board, though. I can always post something in the Hall. Let's not spread the butter over the Collective's bread too thin, I always say... Actually, I don't ever say anything remotely CLOSE to that, but you know...

do need a forum for long stories. Lord Foul and I could moderate. If that is okay with you, Lord Foul, my dark master. (Hehe, only until book 3. After that it's byebye Lord Foul, hello Turiya Foul.

This is why we need a long story forum. So I can finish that. My stuff is like
WAY too long to put in Duchess's forum.

This larger-scale 5-word story thing Lord Foul speaks of interests me...that would be fun stuff!
