If Kevin lived for a thousand years as a Lord, and granted he made a few mistakes...we all know what they were, he also did some great things.
anyone that can create Amok must have been pretty Lore-Wise. He must of had a better handle than Loric-son...Obviously Landwaster came after the Ritual---can anyone think of a good Title that he may have had during his long reign as High Lord?

Maybe he's from the real world?-Foul manipulated him as much as he did Covenant. And mst of his big desicions tended to turn around and bite him in the a$$--just like Covenant/Linden/Troy.

Nah, I don't buy it... :P not only we're explicitly told that Kevin was the son of Loric, who was the son of Damelon, who was the son of Berek, but I have another topic I can raise against this theory:

If one argues that Kevin was from the "real" world because of his name, then why shouldn't Elena be too? The name "Elena" is a name from our "real" world, too. And the Ravers? Their names are hindu, after all :P

Looks like Kevin was just stuck with a not-so-Landish name :P I guess he got that from the mother's side of the family :D

Kevin Loricson?

Pretty ironic, for 'Kevin' to be considered an'outLandish' name ;)

There a few with distincly unLandly names. I don't think anyone could argue that Lord Trevor was from the "real" world :P

Kevin Landshaper

My reasoning is that the title "Landshaper" would have acknowledged the extent of Kevin's power and influence throughout the Land during his lengthy reign. Then, after the Desecration, they simply changed the title to "Landwaster" to recognize that Kevin wasted all his great power and influence over the Land for nothing.

Something like that. :)

Yeah, but who were their mothers? Berek lived hundereds of years, so did Loric and Damelon. Did they father their children in their normal fathering years (20-50) if so then Kevin most certanly knew his Great-grandfather...it would have been quite a council with the four of them!!!
Then that brings up the point...why didn't Kevin start a family?

Maybe he started one in a little village that lies inbetween his great grandads old home (Doridor Corichev) and his favorite lookoff...maybe he put a crossed leaf pattern on the shopulder of his families clothes...
