Did anyone catch this? (I couldnt find a post.)

In lord Fouls Bane; the first book(paper back version) page 7, 14th line down. I caught this the other day and totally forgot about it.

"After he was born, Joan announced that the boy was to be named Roger, after her father and her father's father." <??? hmmm.

Could just be nothing, or maybe something huge.

Whats funny is the next paragaph:
"Roger! Covenant groaned as he neared the door of the phone company's offices. He had never even liked the name."

Sorry, but I'm not following your point on this.

Maybe her father or her father's father had significance to the land. Mayhap had been there or was someone/is from the past perhaps.
Just struck me as odd and seams like it could have significance.
Make of it as you wish.

I think its interesting that Covenant didnt even like the name from the beginning.

Doesn't seem that important, but thinking that, it'll be the most important think in the next three books; such is my luck.
