What faith are you?

The great thing about a poll is you can keep your anonymity while still having your say. Or posting as a guest would work too I guess.

I don’t belong to any specific religion and I’m not “new age” either. I believe there is a God/Creator. I just try to be good, honest and true to myself. The 10 Commandments do have some really good points.

Ps. if I haven’t listed the religion you belong too, start a new poll including other religions you know of that I haven’t listed. Granted some of these aren't religions, but i am trying to go broad spectrum.

On a serious note, as far as this poll goes, I would consider myself an agnostic. I think the question of the existence of a Supreme Being remains an open-ended one. It hasn't been answered yet and may never be. Since this question isn't relevant to how I live my life, I don't spend much energy thinking about it.

Furls Fire started a similar thread in this forum titled, "What is it you believe?" There Caer Sylvanus introduced us to the intriguing belief-o-matic. According to it, I'm 100% Secular Humanist. I highly agree with that conclusion! :)

Check it out, folks. The belief-o-matic is entertaining, but it can also be surprisingly insightful.

Same, except I feel more rooted/comfortable not believing than taking no stance. Which is why I'm an atheist, despite that I acknowledge it is not the most logical path of belief (agnosticism is). Looking back at the Belief thread, I was 100% Secular Humanist, with Unitarian Universalism coming in at 98%.

Interesting. I used the belief-o-matic and got 100 universal unitarian, and 89 percent liberal quaker :)

Apostolic Christian. (Which basically means I only believe in the Bible, not progressive revelation, or any modern orthodoxy.)

Interesting Baradakas, I wasn't aware of that, or that movement in general. How widespread is it?

Larger than you think, see www.tomorrowsworld.org

I don't pay much attention to the doomsday message they preach, but all thier points on a biblical standpoint are accurate and they have the research to back it up.....

I voted Pagan, since I suppose that's the closest, but I too am a Discordian.

All things serve chaos. They either arise from it, or crumble into it. It's a religion for the irreligious. Suits me just fine. ;)

I believe that I am right; especially in the 'Legalise It' Thread. ;)

Serious, I am closer to Christianity, though I have my own spin on it; a bit of Quantum Physics thrown in.

I believe in the people I love, and the ones that love me. That's the ONLY "religion" worth following.....

Hamako, I'm prone to agree with you, but I also believe in self improvement and personal happiness over all.
Avatar, you say you're a discordian, but I suspect you're just a cabbage with a keyboard.
