I read the Chronicles between junior and senior year of HS, starting over now that the Last Chronicles are coming.
I started last night (even though I am currently reading The Wheel of Time series) and I am seeing things this time that 10 years of life allow me to see.
I love this series.

Everytime I read these books I find new things.

For instance, reading them after I had children made Covenant's plight in the first bit of Lord Foul's Bane much more poignant to me.

Welcome to the Watch, Semaj! I'd like to invite you to the Dissecting the Land forum, in which we've torn apart 1st and 2nd Chronicles detail by detail, chapter by chapter. Please feel free to post your comments on any chapter. We're always looking for new and fresh perspectives.

I too, read these first as a teenager, second as a young adult, and lastly and a slightly older adult (with kikds a wife (who only reads Nora Roberts) and a Mortage) and every time they meant so more than the last. SRD is such a good author, I don't understand why he's not ranked at the top of every Bestseller list ther is.
speaking of marriage, how many people out there insisted on WHite Gold Rings? I know I did.

I wanted white gold, but she wanted boring gold.
Now, six years later I'm still wearing boring gold.
Someone help me think of a way to get a white gold ring and still keep her happy with boring gold.

I've read series I probably 5 or 6 times now. I just finished it again last week and until last week, I had never picked up on the fact that it was Caer Caveral that led Covenant into Morinmoss and led the healer to him. Don't know how I missed it all those times, but there ya go.
Reading TWL for the 4th time now. My first read of Runes is drawing closer...

Semaj (same real name as me, btw), try this - get the boring gold 'plated' with platinum or white gold. Tell your beloved that you did it to 'seal in' your love for her forever.
Then just sit back and wait for the lovin'.
