Two lines, so many questions?

In my third read of Runes two lines or statements really caught me as strange. The first is when Linden gets to ask Esmer some questions after she heals Stave.
Linden asks "Can you tell me where to find my son?" and Esmer replied "No. The Despiser is hidden from me"

So I wonder why the Despiser is hidden from him? Or could he mean that the Despiser has taken over Jerimiah, and lumps them into the same being?

The second is something that the Mahdoubt said when Liand asks her to explain her gown and she replies "Matters of apparel are the province of women, beyond your blandishment. The Lady grasps the presence of gratitude. And if she does not"--her blue eye flickerd a quick glance at Linden--" yet she will. Oh, assuredly. It is as certain as the rising and setting of the sun"

Now in the first books we see the moon turned red by drool, and then green by Foul. Then in the second books we see the Sunbane.
What if this time something happens where TC is only visible in sunlight, or is only himself during that time. SRD has always used either the Moon or the Sun in each book?

Intriguing ideas Jerico. I like the observation od Stave and did not see the ambiguity till you pointed it out.

Covenant and Foul are in some ways joined as opposites, as told at the end of the second series, Jeremiah/Foul accompanied by Covenant could be a parallel to Esmer; both sides of the coin. Esmer cannot to good without balancing his actions with wickedness, maybe Covenant is with Jeremiah to maintain that same balance.

Perhaps the Demondim are not chasing them but driving them to Revelstone, or following their Leader(s).

Another thought occurred to me, there are two halfhands approaching Revelstone...there are also now, two ravers.

One raver we know is inside Joan, where the second is located is a good question.

We still lack evidence that Sheol is truly destroyed....

He's only been rent....

What I took this to mean was that that LF was not of the Earth, an entity from outside the Arch, and Earthpower has little affect on him. None of the Elohim seem too concerned about LF, perhaps he has always been hidden from the Elohim and as a result they never took him seriously in their arrogance. Esmer, on the other hand with his Hurachi lineage knows in his gut the power of corruption but is still unable to work past his Elohim limitations...

First time on Board!

Could it mean that Jeremiah is the Despiser?
