We all know how you feel, Foul, but it had to be done. I am kind of ashamed that I was the one who triggered this development, however.

Can someone direct me to the thread or threads that enacted the Ritual of Goodkind/Brooks? I'd like to know how this forum was allowed to weasel in, whilst the likes of David Zindell and Frank Herbet are left out cold.

But your more masochistic, “forbidden fruit” side is grinning wickedly, I'm quite sure.

It all began in your topic about the Library.

Oh great, now it's partly my fault. What a kick in the pants--make a topic complaining about the Library and I inadvertently spawn a Terry & Terry Forum? Oh well, time to go slice my wrists.

Heh. Well, you could always post 'Does the Watch really need the Two Terrys?'
But then again, you never know what that could spawn.

I could make an "All those other authors" forum, too...

Was it really necessary to bump a five year old thread for this?

If your joking:
Would you rather I started a new one: Wierd Foot Fetishs by Established Directors?
If your serious:
If your not going to delete or merge a five year old thread, what does it matter? It's kinda funny, thought others would get laugh or smile out of it...didn't have a thread that was suitable...
...it's kind of like Mallory, I know...but still...

I was reasonably serious. And Mallorys exists for a reason. I certainly don't care if threads are bumped for some meaningful discussion, but the relevance of that post to a 5 year old thread about the creation of a forum that no longer even exists is minimal at absolute best. Not to mention that this is the General
Literature forum.
A new thread would have been better, even if that's not saying much.

Fair 'nuff...
(i would agree with these guys though, the Terry's aren't literature)

Which is probably why the forum doesn't exist anymore.
