In the spirit of the season what is everyone's favorite carol?

I have a tie between Silent Night as a solo piece and Carole of the Bells as a chorale piece (oddly enough I am of German and Ukrainian descent).

I think my favourite one is called Gaudete. It's sung in latin and for some reason I just love listening to it.

Walkin' Round in Women's Underwear
(to be sung to "Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland")

Lacy things -- the wife is missin',
Didn't ask -- her permission,
I'm wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the store -- there's a teddy,
Little straps -- like spaghetti,
It holds me so tight,
Like handcuffs at night,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the office there's a guy named Melvin,
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say, "Are you ready?" I'll say,"Whoa, Man!"
"Let's wait until our wives are out of town!"

Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress -- like Madonna,
Put on some eyeshade,
And join the parade,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!

Lacy things... missin',
Didn't ask... permission,
Wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!

*bump*

People have already mentioned a ton of my favorites!

"O come, O come Emmanuel."
"Hark the Herald."

Also "Joy to the World" - but esp. with all the verses.

Dam-sel and I are very fond of the do-wop version of We Three Kings that was featured in A Claymation Christmas Special about twenty years ago.

Savor Rhee has introduced us to the Straight No Chaser version of We Three Kings set to the Mission Impossible theme. It is also very good, but we intend to play our version for her as soon as we can find the right video tape.

(You should have heard the two of them singing Angels We Have Heard On High last night when we walked the Sammamish River luminaria path as part of the local Lights festival!)
