Anyone want to play a game?

I have these games:

Jedi academy
C&C Generals + Zero Hour
C&C Tiberian Sun
Rome: Total War
Civilisation 3 + PTW + Conquests
Unreal Tournament 2004
Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction
Age of Empires 2 + The Conquerors
Homeworld Cataclysm

If anyone has one of these, do you fancy a game? I've got a lot of time on my hands now the Christmas holidays have arrived.

Well, I'd try a Civ3 PTW game (don't have conquests), but I'm not sure I trust my dial-up connection for online gaming... now, if I were still at uni I'd at least have a good connection, but at home it's just 56k....

since it's turn-based anyway you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, that's why I didn't suggest Rome: Total War (also considering that it runs slow on my machine anyway).

I have:
Jedi academy
Civilisation 3 + PTW + Conquests
Unreal Tournament 2004
Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction
Age of Empires 2 + The Conquerors

and hopefully Rome: Total war and an internet connection in my room after Christmas so I'd love to play with you.

I also have Dungeon Siege + Legends of Arana and Quake 3 and Quake 3 Arena... haven't played them over the internet though, only LANs, so I'm not sure how it works.

Excellent, looks like I'll have a few people with whom to play then. :D

Of the listed games, I have:

Jedi Academy
Civ 3 (although I hadn't realised this was onlineable)
Rome TW

Other on-line games I've got:

Halo
Dawn of War
Worms World Party

I reckon a KW WWP tournament would rock, I know a few others have the game.

For Civ 3 I think it was the Play The World expansion that added the option of online gaming. The original was single-player. I got the Gold Edition, so have both versions.

Ah, I don't have PTW yet, I'll have to keep an eye out for it on eBay.

Just about everyone has Jedi Academy, so I'd suggest that. It'll be great to have some up-close-and-personal Watcher on Watcher light saber combat. My favourite JA game is sabers only with all force powers bar jump turned off. I must confess that I never got into JA online as much as I did Jedi Outcast.

BUMPITITY BUMP

Playing with some people would be great.

Guild Wars ( once i get it working again  )
Counterstrike Source - I am pretty poor at this game, but still a game would be good.
Rome Total War -Never played this online ( i'll have to try and see what its like first )
AoE2 again ive never played this online

Hoping to get Civ 4 soon so anyone who wants a game on that i'd be happy to.

I've got civ4, but haven't been able to play it online (something to do with gamespy hating routers, bastards). I've also now got warcraft 3 + frozen throne in addition to the list in the original post, if anyone fancies a game.

Yuck, I hate games that force you to use GameSpy to play online. Fire Warrior will remain forever a solo experience for me as I consider GameSpy to be on a par with Real Player in the evilness stakes.

I have Civ III PTW now and I'll be getting a legit copy of Rome: TW at xmas. I could host a passworded Halo PC server if anyone else has the game.

Of course you could all start playing World of Warcraft and we could make a TCTC-themed guild. Please. My guild is really annoying me at the moment.

Just noticed this now. A WWP tournie would rock.

Worms world party has several horrendous bugs. Worms Armageddon would be a better choice.

There is a patch for WWP that you need to play online, I imagine that would fix some of the bugs (though I've never had a problem with it, I must say). I didn't realise Worms Armageddon had an online element though.

I only played it online a couple of times, the people on there play Worms like nothing I've ever seen. Prepare for a mauling :D
