The Saddest Music in the World and Close Your Eyes

The Saddest Music in the World. I really don't know what to say about this movie. I guess you could say it's what would happen if Casablanca and Brain Candy (Kids in the Hall) had an illegitimate child. It was good. Different and odd, yes, but good. The best movie about beer legs ever made, in fact.
Close Your Eyes. Not a bad flick. Like Se7en, though, for most people, probably not as good. Some good stuff in there about hypnotism (surprisingly factual) and occultism. There's just enough horror/fantasy thrown in to throw you off guard (I mis-predicted the movie in several instances, which is pretty rare for me). There are a couple of loose threads and inconsistencies, but not enough to ruin the movie.
