What was the best present you got for Solchristmahannukazaa and why was it the best?
I got plane tickets so I can go to Germany to visit my little brother for a week, plus a three-day stopover in London! Yippee! It's the best because a) it's from my bf, who is obviously the best ever; b) I wasn't going to get to see my brother this year because I'm broke, even though I haven't seen him in a year; c) it's Germany! Eine hellas, bitte!; d) I get to stop in London where I can eat at Wagamama and get real fry-ups for breakfast and buy all the Double-Decker chocolate bars I can carry.

I got a digital camera, a blouse, one of those multi-tool things, Star Trek: Nemesis on dvd, a gift certificate to a deli, and a little green reindeer. None of these were things I asked for. In point of fact, I did not get anything I asked for... probably because I didn't ask for much. This year is definitely a first in the the "huh?" department.
Although this camera is waaaay cool.

I got a wireless dealy so I can have the internet in my room, one of those bowl shaped chairs (ahhh!), and best of all, my mom took some really hot pictures of my boyfriend so I can stare at him while he's in Germany... *sniff*

I have joined the 25th century by receiving a cellphone from Tamara Ten-Astoreth. Of course she had to make it a matching set. As she was programming hers we got a call from Fist and Faith and THAT was the greatest gift of the season!

Pantyh--er, no, wait.
Actually, I received--completely unexpectedly--a corkscrew. But it's the mother of all corkscrews.
"It shall be an heirloom of my kingdom. All those who follow in my bloodline shall be bound to its fate, for I will risk no hurt to the Corkscrew. It is precious to me..."

I got a miniature fridge for my bedroom and an mp3 player for playing mp3s with.
It's sweet, I don't have to go downstairs to get something to drink while I'm playing my ps2 for hours on end.

One of my gift certificates was useless. The store didn't put any money on it. Unfortunately, it was a gift from my soon-to-be ex-wife. To make matters worse, what I bought her didn not work, so I had to return it. Neither of us intended this, but it's like some cosmic entity wants to smack out marriage down even further.....sheesh.

That doesn't sound comfortable at all, dAN. Maybe the cosmic entity is trying to amuse you with its sense of dramatic irony or something. Bleh.

Chin up dAN! And Martixman I can't help but look at corkscrews in a completely different way after my recent dissection in Casting the Augury!

Santa also gave us a Go Vision VHS/DVD player! It's soooooooo righteous!!!!

The gift that brought the biggest smile to my face was a new pair of New Rock boots
More leather, more metal and higher heels-couldn't ask for more

Oh. The Perdon. Poor man. Forgot about that. I did not intend to insult his memory, I swear! My mention of the corkscrew was purely coincidental, as I did honestly receive a hefty one. Aw, man, now I'm not sure I wanna touch it anymore.
