What SRD word have you grown to HATE! ;-)

We have all benefited immeasurably by SRD's vocabulary expanding prose. But there are some words or short expressions that I'm sure we've grown to HATE

.
Mine is from Runes - Formication
read Runes for it's context!
I've found these words become especially annoying when you listen to the CDs (Runes has 22 of them!!)
Which one is it for you?

I'll have to second "formication." For some reason, "crepuscular" comes to mind as well -is this an SRD word, or do I have an aversion to anything that sounds distasteful?

Furls has my word--I even mentioned in my review at Amazon.com that one word was repeated too much...that's the one.

By the end of TOT, I never wanted to hear "Don't touch me" again. I seem to have recovered though.

And then it was "You never loved me anyway." Don't forget that one.

Hahahaha. No kidding. I'm sick of that phrase already. And I'm only on page 136.
I don't know if I have any personal pet peeves. Being a person of bad english to begin with, I tend to forget most of the words I don't understand anyway. Heh.-jay

Well, one word I've noticed him use quite a bit was "alacrity". Actually had to look the damn word up.
And I remember when I was getting ready to reread the second chrons, I remembered him use the word "severity" when talking about Linden. It's one thing that really stood out to me.

"Hellfire" is pretty common in the southeast - but "bloody damnation" isn't.

The one I don't like is "roynish." No offense to the Watcher by that name. I just think it's an ugly word, and every time he describes an ur-vile he uses it. It was cool the first couple times, but after that I just wanted a new word.

After White Gold Wielder I was getting pretty sick of 'Apotheosis'.
