Lord Dunsany? A lot of his stuff has come back into print recently...
Have you started/finished Card's Alvin Maker series yet? Crystal City is out in paperback....
Oh, and lot of Charles de Lint's stuff has been reprinted in really good-looking trade paperbacks (and slightly expensive) lately...good gift-card stuff...
I've just been reading Patricia Kenneally's
Keltiad trilogy, which was mildly addictive....
And Evangeline Walton's series based on The Mabinogion is out in an omnibus edition now....
Oh, so many choices! Enjoy the freedom!

Olaf Stapledon - either Last and First Men or Starmaker.

I've read Stapledon and Dunsany and own The Essential Ellison. I'm reading the sci-fi, Superluminal by Tony Daniel right now so I need a good fantasy. (Recently completed: Riddle Master, M, S & Thorn, The Dragon Waiting, A Storm of Swords, Lord of Lies and the Earthsea series) is any Erikson available in the US?

Fantasy, eh? How about a swimsuit calendar?
I'd go with that Pressfeild book Brinn loves so much.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have returned victorious

with a paperback Gardens of the Moon Vol 1 of The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson, with a stunning recommendation on the front by SRD, btw...

AND Gene's Wolfe's Shadow and Claw-I've read Shadow of the Torturer but can't find Claw of the Conciliator anywhere else...
(I'm also sneaking chapters of The Man Who Killed His Brother before falling asleep)

Good luck with Gardens of the Moon. Let us know what you think of it. I've got it sitting, as yet un-read on my bookshelf at home, and hearing a few more good words about it will bump it up my "to read" list.

I'm 6 pages in and I'm already hooked, it's kinda like Kay's Tigana without the fluffy Italianesque feel. I'm a major G. R. R. Martin head so it will have alot to alot to live up to.

Gardens is good, but the second book, Deadhouse Gates, is where the series really takes off.
