These guys are awesome. So far, I've gotten 3 of their cds: V, Snow, and Feel Euphoria. This stuff is as good, if not better than, Yes, Rush, early Genesis, you name it. Prog is not dead, and I'm in heaven. Anybody else hear of these guys?

It would seem not. I had to check out the thread because of the name. I assumed it was another Trek cd, maybe by the Spock in Mirror Mirror.

No, this is a real band, not a band put together to help an aging ST cast member make up for a horrible '60's album....If you like prog, Spock's Beard is a must listen.

I must've missed this thread back in the day. The Beard is one of my favorite bands, period. Although my favorite albums are when Neil Morse was still with them (said like a true fanboy).

Listened to a little of the "Beard". Mostly V. Like them but still prefer Porcupine Tree when I'm looking for a dose of prog.

You might notice this thread was created nearly six years ago. That's one and a half years before Luci started the YouTube thread. It's entirely possible that I didn't have a pc capable of watching videos back them. It's even feasable that I didn't know YouTube existed back then. For all I know, it didn't exist back then. So, if you can show me the YouTube links in the initial post of a thread you started back in January 2005, then you might have a point. Never mind, I checked for you. You have no point, as usual. So, unless you can manage to find something useful to say, shut the hell up.
