... A chiaroscuro (sp?)???

You know, the embodiment Lord Foul of lights in Kiril Threndor in LFB?

Side note? What does attar smell like? Do I really want to know that?

What does attar smell like?
I'm not sure; but I imaging the smell of being in traffic and following a roofing truck,
with the trailer full of smoldering tar. (Phew!)

Heh, I think that's probably it, cheval. Always what I imagined it to be like.

A chiaroscuro... a very evil chia pet...

Sorry, that was awful. I wish I were funnier.

Strictly speaking, "chiaroscuro" is a painting term..."a treatment of light and shade in painting, especially when strongly contrasted." Think black and white swirlies, maybe. Anyone else have a more vivid description?

The only things worse than that is burning flesh (small plane crashed) and
the sweet sicking smell of a body that had sit around for three days in an apartment.
(Guess who had to remove belongings? And the smell was in EVERYTHING!)

OK, I was gagging with that description...

So THAT is what Lord Foul smells like? No wonder he is named "Foul!"

If you want to get a hang of how chiaroscuro looks like take a look at Rembrandt's paintings.

Attar is rose oil, isn't it? it can be really aggressive, nauseating if concentrated.
