Nice one Cj.
Reminds me a bit of the beginning of Rushdie's The Satanic Verses, although only vaguely, especially as it's been a long time since I read it.
As a short prose piece, I quite like it.

Thanks. I have a problem with heights, so I started with the word "falling" and it went from there.
Bizarrely, this has expanded far beyond its original remit and has proved to be a key piece in linking several previously unrelated narrative threads, including my anthology entry.

For some reason, I thought of Satan being cast out of Heaven.
It gave me a couple of shudders and a whole series of goose bumps.
