I just saw FF on DVD,and I must say that although it is not the best superhero movie ever made,I enjoyed it for the most part.My kids especially liked The Thing and Dr Doom,I particularly enjoyed The Invisible Woman(when she was not invisible).

Finally bought and watched FF. I agree it wasn't among the best Superhero films I've seen but in my opinion it wasn't among the worst either. I enjoyed the film much more that I anticipated. After watching and reading about some truly misguided films the likes of Catwoman, Elektra, Daredevil and The Hulk I'm pleased that one of my favorite superhero comics didn't wind up with a head scratchingly idiotic feature film. AND since there will be a second outing FF II won't have to stretch all that far to exceed the original.

Well done Fist. I was a little concerned that reference might have been too subtle. My fears were unfounded.

I think I will start keeping a record of movies I liked that were trashed by critics.Lately I could name National Treasure and FF.

imagine the Galactus movie.
Silver Surfer.
cameos by the X-Men, SpiderMan, Daredevil as they are trapped outside the city.
man what a movie that would be.

Ohhhhh, sweet. I totally agree. But the thing with Galactus, is that it can easily be done wrong. Galactus is actually a very subtle and sad character. He can too easily be protrayed as evil and the movie be overdone. The hugeness of him and his 'purpose' speak for themselves. It is something that can be played more subtly and gain better emotion and fear.
Ah, but I could go on too long about this....

by design he would be distant. you could even have the Surfer, Terrax, Fire-Lord and Airwalker in the first film and present Galactus at the end of that... and the next one is the FF trying to stop him. you could have the Inhumans and Agatha Harkness show up. man, we need to write this movie!

I would love to see Byrne's FF242 and 243 made into a movie.
It would be much like what you are asking for.

HLT: yes, great issues. Byrne had a grasp that the FF should be cosmic. I want to see the Negative Zone, Gladiator, Blasstar. mine the Kirby/Lee and Byrne runs.
