UK Elohimcoffee 2005

When we got together in Manchester, we said we'd do another one in 2005, so...what do the UK contingent think? Shall we start thinking about getting together again? Maybe in April or early May, to give us a bit of a run at it? That would put it about 6 months after the last one, which seems right to me.

I doubt we can arrange another visit by SRD :( but hopefully we can get a few more together this time - as SRD said, last time we were " the proud, the few." 8)

How about we all go to the Great British Beer Festival in August? In my experience London serves as a great big obstacle to anyone trying to travel north from the south coast, so we may as well use it.

We could call it the Elohimsesh!

You still owe me a beer from last year, and as I said at the time, no welching! Plus there's those books you were going to give me back...

Not a bad idea at all, maybe something to do "as well as" - London seems a bit dicouraging for the more northerly based.

Beer suits me if I'm not driving :letsparty:

When you plan an Elohimcoffee, the first and most important factor you consider must be whether Nathan can come. :D

Seriously though: I doubt I'll be able to get to any of these unless I host one myself (very unlikely, considering I live with my parents). Maybe in a couple of years' time.

(A temporary reprieve, but time is moving on, soon there'll be no way to escape me.)

I doubt I'll ever make it to one of these gatherings, but I'll continue to foster the illusion of possibility...
Oh, and I don't drink.

Gart and I had a couple of beers the other night, while he was in my locale. We reached a consensus on the appeal of Nav's beer festival idea, so that looks like the next organised gathering. Get your names down at once!

A convival session it was too - although the last pint was probably a mistake; I was a bit muzzy-headed for my Monday appointment.

As CJ said, the beerfest looks like a good option, so "Elohimsesh" it is. :P

As I have indicated elsewhere, I am officially skint. I doubt I can afford to do anything like this while I'm still at Uni.

Well, you can always do what Hierachy did: sell your respect ;)
