We used to do "Saturday Night Live in the Chatroom" (usually at the Hangar) and had a fairly regular attendance for a while.

Well, sometimes a few people get in the chat... usually because Revan spams their PM boxes until they do.

Ok, I am just going to sit in the chatroom until people come in this time. If people don't come in, I will stomp my feet and hold my breath.

So there.

Ah, the KW "Chatbane." It's an awkward, sluggish and unstable beast, but I've had my share of epic conversations with Darth in there: you haven't had the "complete" KW experience until you've chatted with our resident Sith Lord.

It's my impression that the majority of Watchers now do most of their chatting at MSN, and I don't blame them. It's more robust and easier on the eyes than the Chatbane. :)

danlo, I know you haven't had great luck with Trillian, how bout trying Gaim, another multi-protocol IM client. I know a number of people who have been happy with it, and I am currently using a chat client that uses Gaim. It is compatible with AIM, MSN, and a number of others.

I liked the MSN chats. :)

If someone ever really wants to chat, you could always take a page from revan's book and send PMs to the people who are on-line at the Watch the same time you are. :)
