Time paradoxes

As mentioned elsewhere, paradoxes are the source of much power. Also in Runes we get the idea that you can go back in time but cant change it or you break the Arch. After hearing "buckle up cause we are going for a ride", I am wondering if there is a chance of something big from the past authored by the characters we know.

As a far fetched example, Covenant is Berek halfhand. That sounds real improbable but who knows ... Im sure there are less far fetched examples. We will likely see the birth of the Harauchai and the great horses and who knows what else ...

That is a great thought Spork. Very cool. Just like Planet of the Apes.

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed by the time travel stuff for exactly this reason. To me, it's either a "cheat" or a gimmick.

Yeah. Especially if every other chapter is travel to a different place and linden and covenant are the progenitors of everyone and everything interesting. Maybe there is/was only one staff of law. What kind of credulity do we give "cut from the one tree"?
