SF Site's Best books of 2004 - Readers' Choice

Found this linked on the Malazan boards, thought people here would be interested.

Runes got in at number four, beaten by Mieville's Iron Council, Midnight Tides by Erikson, and number one Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Gene Wolfe's Wizard Knight takes 5th place.
Just missing the top ten were books 6 and 7 of the Dark Tower (tied at 11).
And because I'm an Erikson fan:

If you combined the votes for [Gardens of the Moon], for The Healthy Dead (PS Publishing, April 2004), and for Midnight Tides, No. 2 above, Erikson would have given Susanna Clarke a real run for her money
