I pronounce that 4th word "different".

Re-reading this thread, I realized that I overlooked
Haruchai...which I now see is the very first word in the list.
I am going to be different (like my therapist says: "you are different"....I always took that as "unique," but I don't know now........

)
Anyway, I have never pronounced the H in that word.
I have always read it as
Ah-roo-chee.
Call me nuts. But it's SRD's fault. After I first saw "
an Haruchai"....I started saying it that way.

Do we need to delve into definitive Donaldson pronunciations again?

He definitely pronounces the H

But I still think he's wrong about "caesure"

His pronunciation of caesure makes perfect sense to me, since the word itself is spelt like 'caesar', and ends in 'ure': caes (from caesar) + ure = caesure.
My pronunciation of the word was automatic, first time I saw it written.

So, it's pronounced just like seizure then.

<right hand raised, left hand on Runes>
I, ur-bane, solemly swear on this 23rd day of March, the Year of our Donaldson 2005, that from this day forth, I shall always and forever
pronounce caesure as seizure, and though the mountains should
crumble around me, and my buttocks be spanked by time itself, no sway
in my resolve shall be realized. Amok.
