Neither are ours ... though we occasionally get a dusting of snow in particularly cold winters.

The weather is becoming perfect now ... sunny days, warm temps but I’m currently clearing out the house of dust bunnies, things we have never used and getting internally organised.

We’ve put in a good few weeks outside, fixing fences, gathering dead wood/fuel and burning off .. attacking wild blackberry patches ... so much summer readiness work to do. In the next few weeks Ill get the farrier out and the vet to give everyone their shots and clean the horses teeth.

And in two weeks from now the government is FINALLY coming out to geologically survey koala habitat that I’ve been lobbying for for months and months now.

Cannot wait.

Been a bit rainy lately, which is nice, but starting to clear again so temps likely going to go up.

Way back in the Normal Days, this was the time of year when it would start getting cold and rainy. There was a short period where it looked like that might even happen, then NOPE, another heat wave.

We've had a sort of early cold hit in the UK; it's been really wintery without actually being winter. Not to my taste if I'm honest - I thrive in the pleasantly warm days of spring best and it can't come soon enough for me!

Damn, it's hot here. Yesterday went up to 35C and it's still October. Gonna be a scorcher, thanks global warming. :(

And with my PC cooling itself so well now, all that excess heat has to go somewhere...i.e. into the room I'm sitting in.

Great picture Av! One of yours?

(Incidentally, saw a storm like that in Benares once; the following morning on a boat on the Ganges I remarked to the guide with us that I was impressed with it, but expected that it was pretty normal for him. Not so, he replied. His father was ninety and said he had never seen anything like it! )

Nah, I wish. But yeah, big electrical storms are fairly common here, maybe because of the altitude. This one was very electrical though.

Missed the lightning in the UK...also amused many Brits don't seem to like it. :D

I love a good storm, but I'll pass on thunder/lightning if it doesn't include rain, as that's what caused some of the fires here this year.

Local weather report had a clickbait headline promising a major weather change tomorrow with a picture of a person holding an umbrella. Turned out it's just going to be cold, and the chance of rain is pretty low. Had my hopes up for a moment.

Still can't get the second link to do anything.

In the 70's. 10 percent chance of rain.

Still chilly, but hopefully starting to warm up toward spring...
