Which Character do you most relate to?

If you were to put yourself in the head of one of the characters, which would it be? I'd make this a poll but... I'd never have enough choices to put in all the possible characters.

Well, someone else here at the Watch once told me that I
am Linden, after hearing about my family and how I grew up.
be afraid, be very afraid

Then you're probably as amazing as she is. Because at that point, you'd have to be either dead or amazing, and you're a pretty regular poster...

I'd have to say I relate most to the Ramen. In a perfect world, I'd be a Cord (and hopefully work my way up to Manethrall).

Your question isn't very clear.
"Most relate to" and then "put yourself in their head"
The 1st is who are you similar too and the 2nd seems to ask who you would want to be, imho.
Sadly, I think I'm most like Covenant, minus the whole rapist thing.
I think I'd react in most the same ways but maybe a little nicer.
Who I would want to be: Mhoram
Many difficult times in life I ask myself "What would Mhoram do?"

Character I can relate to most: third Stonedownor on the left with the bad haircut. In other words, I'm the guy who blends in with the scenery.
My less flippant answer: Thomas Covenant...and Linden Avery. They're the reason the books mean so much to me. That and the Land, but never mind...
Character I'd most like to be: Vain, so I can be the strong and silent type. Or Bannor, so I can knock around Covenant for being a jerk. Or Caerroil Wildwood, so I can crush my enemies with the power of my music.

Hile Troy

Linden.
My father was pretty terrible to me (although I haven't had that horrible a childhood compared to Linden's). I understand her black moods and the need to feel useful. I relate to her in other ways, especially the way she looks at situations and how she reacts to them (even when she's wrong), but she's a hell of a lot stronger than I could ever be.
She has moved me as no other SRD character has. Her triumph over the Sunbane in WGW had me crying like a baby!

Yes, well put! I too relate with Linden the most. I still have parents, but they're noncommittal; I may see them once or twice a month, if lucky.

I identify with Covenant more than any other character, by far. Hopefully I'm not such a git (and we disagree on Linden

) but in many ways, we see things in a very similar way.

This is a really interesting thing, and I respect SRD so much for getting this right... the fact that there is a kind of darkness that infects you from a lot of abuse. Her black moods, her lust for power, and her rage and desire for possession... usually in a character that has been victimized they leave these things out... He was so realistic in his depiction of the character, he must have very personal experience with it. ESPECIALLY in terms of her difficulties with Covenant directly, her feelings towards his power, and their romance.
Great stuff...

Personally, I can relate to TC--I understand how he feels guilty about everything, and is quite often depressed (though I don't have leprocy).
Who I'd strive to be like would be Mhoram.
He's just a good guy.

Many many years ago I related to TC. I was very much that type of personality (without the leprosy). In later years I became a terisa (different series, I know), but now, I can safely (and proudly) say that I think I relate more to Mhoram now.

I relate to High Lord Elena the most, I feel like we share similar hardships and ambitions. Though I think I would have acted more like Hile Troy if I were a denizen of the Land. I have a white gold ring too, perhaps I’m a bit obsessed with power or just powerful characters…

I'd be an ur-vile, because I can run on all fours, I lack eyes, and am fond of wedges. Furthermore, I make roynish noises while I snuffle around.
I'm pretty amazing, by the way. Who else do you know can navigate the internet via smell alone?

I realte to the haruchai---hence the moniker. I liek to think of myself as noble and moral and have a purpose, but in the end I fall short of these lofty ideals.

Yes, that is good, but do you have Ninja capabilities?
