I just started the Harry Potter series again for the seventh or eighth time. :D
This time with a new (for me) illustrated version by Jim Kay.
To me, he really captures how I imagine that world to look like.

Eragon by Christopher Paolini.

Dead easy stuff and no demands on the reader (essentially for a teenage audience I'd guess).
