Anybody playing Guild Wars here?

The reason I ask is that trying to come up with a player name for the game using characters from the Thomas Covenant series is next to impossible. Most of the main characters are already taken; so there must be alot of fans playing Guild Wars. I ran into Hile Troy at one point.
So anybody here playing and if so what names do you have?
I have Sparlimb Keelsetter and Kenaustin Ardenol.

I've not got the game, though since hearing a little about it I've been considering it (will have to wait until July before I can play anything online). I know there's at least one person who was talking about the game here... aha.
Here's a topic The Pumpkin King posted about it.
[Gen mods: Can we to bump this over to the Games forum? Thanks]
DoctorWaterGod, just FYI, if you look further down the index into "The Waymeet", there's a whole forum for game discussion.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is my first post on actually any forum; didn't look far enough down on the index.

The Watch is pretty big. Something for everyone, I think. And Welcome, by the way, Welcome and True.

Yes, I play it!
I'm always on two characters: Carra Blackbolt, and Ranagarr Rabanagarr.
The latter is a parody on Drizzt Do'Urden. Because I loathe him.
In any case, I run a guild! Full of people you guys would like a lot.
Hope to see y'all around!

It's why I've been absent from the Watch lately. It saps all my free time.

Okay, GameSpot just rated this game a 9.2. From what I hear, it's not tedious at all, like most MMORPGs. Apparently, it's easy to get in and start fighting. I'm pretty excited. Does it have no monthly fees?

That is correct. No monthly fee's. From what I've heard, they will make their money by offering expansions once or twice a year at $50 or so. You have the choice to buy or not; you will still be able to play without.
The game is forgiving and completely intriguing. I'm not experienced in MMORPG, but I'm having a blast. Like the "Pumpkin King" it will suck you in and use up all your free time!! You can team up with anybody out on the internet or just go in by yourself with NPC's.
I definitely is worth the money.

Just wanted to jump in and say that Drizzt is lame, and greatly worthy of parody.

Anyone that has it, add me. My name is "White Gold Weilder" (wielder was taken)
...And as the older members here will know, I am quite fond of common misspellings.

Shouldn't your username be Kahn, then?
(Why isn't my avatar showing?)
