Sci-Fi: I loved Alien & Aliens.

I just saw what might be the best Guy Flick of all time - The Warriors. Remember that one? Gangs in NYC. That's as fun as it gets!
Is there an official term for the male counterpart of the Chick Flick? I don't think I've ever heard anything. Something else that rhymes with "flick", and has a more masculine connotation springs to mind. But that might be confused with porn, so maybe not.

I think this has to be the best action film of all time, since it was the first truly modern action flick, and still has yet to be topped: Shichinin no samurai
My all-around favorite is a tie between Apocalypse Now and Goodfellas. Fellowship of the Ring is also up there, somewhere in third place... Well, I guess I have to post at least one drama, to keep from everything going bonkers, heh heh...
Drama: One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

quick picks off the top of my head
Sci-Fi : Dark City or Matrix

Drama: Fight Club

I think that the funniest movie I've ever seen is Bowfinger. I saw it with three of my girlfriends, and three of the four of us have asthma. We got to laughing so hard, we had to pass my albuterol inhaler around because we all started wheezing! Runnerups would be Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Spaceballs.

oooh I also liked A.I. ..
Horror: FINAL DESTINY .. URBAN LEGENDS .. scared the **** out of me
I hated Seven .. too real .. never saw Hannibal or any of those sicko flicks .. for the same reason .. there are plenty of sick stuff out there .. dont seek it out for entertainment.
I dont like anything that mimicks real life sick possibilities .. when I seek entertainment .. its for purely escapist value

Can't believe you guys left out Manos: Hands of Fate! Shouldn't that be in the all-around category?

Methinks Lord Foul has been watching too much Mystery Science Theater 3000. Don't tell me you actually saw Manos...Although it is the best pre- 1970 horror movie to be directed by a fertilizer salesman. If you liked Manos let me recommend "Plan 9 from Outer Space" which is another classic!
