If you go to the GRRM website, www.georgerrmartin.com
and click on appearances you will see that he is attending the Book Expo America convention in June 2-5 (the largest publishing event in the US, it claims), if you click on their link you can find some interesting info. The convention is for publishers, booksellers and retails, and librarians. GRRM is apparently going to this, I wonder why he would attend? Hmmm...
If you click on authograhs on the left, you will find a schedule of book signings. Sort by author and his name pops up. Apparently he will be signing a "specially produced excerpt booklets from AFFC on June 17th.
Just thought this was interesting. Maybe something to hold us off for a while, or to promote something coming soon?????

Last weekend he was at a convention in Chicago, and supposedly told people that he has over 1500 pages of AFFC completed, with about 100 pages in various stages of completion to go. He also has part of ADWD written, as well as about half of a third Dunk & Egg story. Only one chapter has not been at least partially written for AFFC...

His publisher is supposedly in the midst of setting up a book tour for AFFC for this fall.

The end of our long wait is near, if these things are true.
