Seriously,

how do you feel? I mean this is probably the first time this has ever happened in Science Fanasty, the main hero having 3 girlfriends, without doubt getting and going to get 2 of them prognant, probably the third as well... very strange... but I have to say I kinda like the storyline, I think the Jordan has actually pulled it off. (The storyline!

! )
I mean if you told me when I first started the series that Rand was going to end up with three girlfriends whom would all accept each other, I'd probably have hit you with a spoon. But I think that he has managed to pull it off in an okayish manner...
but whether or not he has done it well; heh, how do you feel about a bloke having three girlfriends?
Personally, I'm envious.

If they can all handle it, more power to them, says I.

Its pretty clear to me that the author is a man, and thinking quite wishfully at that.
*shakes head*

If Jordan were truly brave he would have all four of them go into a bedroom together and politely shut the door.

We do not need to know what goes on in that bedroom, but after all, it is a group marriage of sorts.

Rand and his ladies seem rather incongrous to me, in the context of the WOT world. Jordan has gone out of his way to establish that women are in the ascendant magically, politically and socially; three women married to one man seems unlikely under these circumstances.
As for a bloke having three girlfriends...he'd have to be a master of time management if they didn't know about each other

or a very acomplished diplomat if they did

yeah, this is what annoys me about the series most of all, is that the males all seem to be blind, or are made to be blind, and the females think they are all knowing and intelligent... when the fact is; they're misguided poorly written imbeciles.
the most pissing part of it is, you just know the Asha'man are going to come under the control of the Aes Sedai. I mean "The White Tower stronger than ever before. And the Black Tower rent in fire and blood" - why? To make the women superior. This pisses me off more than the fact that the plot hasn't really progressed much at all...
