Synonymity

A new word game: User posts a word, and the next poster responds with a synonym, a word with the same or similar meaning.
The word you post can be synonymous with any meaning of the last word, not just the meaning implied by the word preceding it (this way, we avoid going round in circles with words that always mean the same thing).
Use of a Thesaurus is allowed, but less fun (but even if you don't, the words should be together in one).
I'll start:

(Synonymity is such a cool word.)
