Most people have such a low Midichlorian Count that they are completely usable to use the Force, or as much as. Anakin is the most powerful force user. Easily. Luke is just a bug in comparison to his father.

but in truth, Lucas says himself that Midichlorians are just one tiny factor that determines how powerful you can become in the Force. For example, Palpatine is more powerful than Anakin could ever be. But in terms of sheer potential, if both were to reach and fulfill every facade of their strength, Anakin could eat Palpatine for breakfast.

Yes, one has strength, but does one know how to fully use it?

Where did you get all those, Darth? Or did you make them up?


In any case, I have a couple of comments.

1) I always took Luke to be more innately powerful than Vader - after all, Palpatine tries to get Luke to kill Vader, thereby gaining a replacement apprentice. Why would he do that if Luke's a big wuss in terms of raw power?

2) Darth Revan is top of the list I think Revan would kick Anakin/Vader's bum, with some considerable force

Mara Jade is way off. Above Jedi Masters? Not! She obviously has some ability, and she could have been more of a Force-user if Palpatine had trained her. But I never saw evidence of the ranking she got. I'd say she's more like Jango in Ep II - hugely intelligent and skilled.

Fascinating list, Darth. Does the even split in Midichlorian count between Luke and Leia imply that if Padme had given birth to only one child, that child would have had an even greater Force potential than Anakin?

it seems to me that no amount of force potential can make up for training and practise. Potential is a stupid way to measure power because nothing ever reaches its full potential.

Luke started the new Jedi order! He wasn't a lame-ass-loser Still. It's hard to determine him, since when we saw him with Grand Admiral Thrawn he was completely insane.

You are indeed right, Kreia does indeed own everyone. But I don't think that Kreia's strength lies in the Force, oh, she's strong. But her wisdom is stronger I think... Despite being a Sith, perhaps because she is a Sith, she has an amazing view point on events. That's why she's the best Sith ever; her knowledge. And you notice what types of students she tries to train? Revan - headstrong, foresighted (literally, that is why he went to the Dark Side and tried to take over, or unite the galaxy, because he knew an even greater enemy would come) very intelligent. Would she have bothered to train Malak, had he come to her? No, I don't think so, Malak was for all intensive purposes, a moron, and had he beat the Jedi and made his own empire, it would have fallen within months, as a character in kotor 2 said.

I thing Revan owns everyone... including Palpatine.
