But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Also: I'm really excited about the new Will Wright game, Spore, which is life simulation on an insane level. You start from a cell (or maybe a bacteria, I can't recall). I'll probably upgrade my comp for that game. My trusty Radeon 9200 does the job, but I think I'll get a 9600 (will hopefully be cheaper by the time Spore is out).
Age of Empires III really excites me, as well as the Half-Life 2 expansion.

Video card numbering is so confusing. I very nearly swapped my Radeon 9000 to an inferior GeForce card because I misinterpreted nVidia's rating system. This handy comparison chart is really helpful for avoiding that sort of thing.
I've just put in a bid for a 9600 on eBay, to match the supposedly faulty Athlon XP 2800 I got for a song last week. The 9000 isn't up to playing Full Spectrum Warrior, so I decided it was time for a change.
I'm looking forward to Rare's new X-Box games, the sequels to Conker's BFD and Perfect Dark. I don't actually have an X-Box, but I'm sure they'll be ported eventually. Speaking of ports, rumour has it that Halo 2 PC will be with us by Christmas.
Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.
I must admit that Dreamfall (which is what they are calling The Longest Journey 2), is the one I'm most anticipating. The first was a marvel of storytelling and execution. So good. I know I'm expecting to be disappointed. You can see it here.
Other than that, whatever that game is that is made from the folks who made Ico is whose name changes every week is being called now. It has something to do with Colossus (and not of the Fall), or something.
Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

Geez...you think video card numbers are confusing? AMD is even worse for this, IMHO. I cannot figure out the logic behind their system for naming processors at all.
F'rinstance, I just put together a system for my wife based off a Sempron 3000+. The actual speed of said processor is 1.8 GHZ. Same deal with my computer: It's an Athlon XP 2600+ (if I recall correctly) that's actually rated at 2.3 GHZ.
Back on topic: Only game I'm waiting for is Zelda.
AMD started using 'performance ratings' rather than clock speeds to differentiate their processors a while back. Clock speeds aren't really getting much higher, so they've found other ways to make chips faster. At least the performance ratings only go in one direction though and you don't have to worry about buying what looks like a good device, only to discover its a watered down LE version.
I finally got hold of Mario Tennis for the N64 the other day, which I'd been eagerly awaiting for a long, long time. I'd like Paper Mario too, but it's harder to get it for much less than £50.

I preordered Quake 4 yesterday, got a free t-shirt with it in "the standard XL" ... as of yet I don't think there's any word on when Quake Wars: Enemy Territory comes out. If there is, let me know!
It took a lot of self control to keep from preordering Civ 4 and Age 3 as well... I am going to be so broke when those come out. Augh.
Dungeon Siege 2 came out recently, it's pretty nice so far, though I haven't spent much time on it.
