By the Seven! - The 7 Degrees of Kevin Landwaster Game

Just kidding...I've had fun with the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon Game, and thought I would bring 6DKB to Mallory to see if anyone else enjoys it.

In a lame attempt to make it KW relevant, I give it a new name, and am working under a huge assumption that Kevin Bacon has worked with High Lord Kevin in the made-for-TC movie 'Lost of the Land: A Documentary'. So, that last degree will always be 'Kevin/Kevin in LotL', which still gives the normal 6 for the regular Bacon Game. So let's lose the lameness, not mention it again, and just play 6DKB, okay?

********Rules************************************
Though it is very easy to cheat using the Oracle of Bacon or IMDB perhaps, these should only be used as a last resort. Plus, the smaller the number of degrees the better, so improvements on previous posts are possible. Naming any link in 6 or less qualifies you for naming a new actor, but posters after you may also suggest shorter links. We want the shortest links possible, or course, but to keep the game moving forward, new posts should always contain an Actor-KB linkage that uses the current actor, in addition to whatever shortcuts to previous actors that have been devised.

*****6DKB Explained******************************
For the as yet unaware, 6DKB involves linking the starting actor with Kevin Bacon by naming a chain of movies in which the actor appeared with a different actor who appeared with another actor...until you can name a movie with that last actor and Kevin Bacon.

Here's an example: Robin Williams to KB in 4 steps:
RW & Edward Norton: Death to Smoochy
EN & Richard Gere: Primal Fear
RG & Julia Roberts: Pretty Woman
JR & KB: Flatliners

Better because it's shorter: RW-KB in 3
RW & Cuba Gooding Jr: What Dreams May Come
CGJR & Tom Cruise: Jerry Maguire
TC & KB: A Few Good Men

And perhaps best is the shortest I can think of: RW-KB in 2
RW & John Lithgow: The World According to Garp
JL & KB: Footloose

Being a complete movie geek helps, I guess.

*****1st move*************************************
So, let's start things off... what's the shortest linkage for:

Christian Bale to KB

Wow, this isn't going down well!

Can't compete, sorry. I'm neither a movie buff nor a Kevin Bacon fan.

danlo, I think you're thinking Christian Slater (Heathers) instead of Christian Bale (Batman Begins / American Psycho)

So do I just do one step? Or do I have to go right through to Kevin Bacon?

That's a good question... I had originally assumed that a poster would provide all the steps in a single post, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be more fun to do it one post/poster at a time, so we end up collaborating on moving from ActorX to Kevin Bacon.
