(EDIT: OK, now that I've seen WayFriends thread in Q&A, I know what it is. Since Edge posted a link in the Elohimfest Anniversary thread, I'm gonna turn it off for now. Sounds like a cool thing on the whole, lets figure it out.)

Looks alright, but I can't use it - I can never connect to IRC. Might be my proxy.

I know you need to have the Java client installed on your PC for it to work. Generally you can get it at www.microsoft.com

Not sure about your proxy though. I think chat is a bane - period !

I have the Sun Microsystems Java Client. I can open up the chat and everything, it's just that I can't connect to IRC servers, just like I can't connect to online games or filesharing networks.

So that is IRC? Fist mentioned it before, but I have never used it.
