Login Error

I've been trying to login all day using the "Login" link at the top of the forum, but I kept getting this:

"Template->loadfile(): No file specified for handle body"

I was able to finally login by using the login at the "Home" page.

Is anyone else having this problem?-jay

Starting today I started getting script errors on every Watch page. It might be related. (I use IE, and keep "Display a notification of every script error" on, due to the work I do.)

not feeling so alone..

I'm very glad you made this thread, because I hadn't been able to log on all day, either. In fact, a little while ago I sent an email to someone begging him to let Vain know that niether danlo or I could log in.

:) Shouldn't be able to post as a guest. ;)

I didn't have any probs, but then, I tell the board to remember me, so I don't have to log-in every time.

I had the same problem and error message as Jay. I also got that error message when I tried to post as a guest (in other words, it appears to be impossible to post as a guest with this error). I finally logged in using the same method Jay suggested.

I am on IE 6, at the moment -my son is using my iMac, so I booted up my hubby's Thinkpad.

Just for the record, I had no problem at all posting early in the day using Safari.

Just FYI, it's actually impossible to post as a guest under any circumstances. It was disabled after that rash of spamming we had a few months ago.

That function has never worked for me, no matter how many times I tried to use it.

Ah, ok, I didn't know that. I usually keep myself logged in on my computer. And that is the reason I was able to post here all day yesterday with no problem.

I just tried using IE from my iMac, and I got the same error log-in message as last night.

As an experiment, I logged out on Safari and tried logging in again and got this message:
Safari can’t open the page “kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/login.php?sid=9ad2a85cc497ab18538244a1f633bd11”.

The error was: “bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011)

Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
I guess I could report it to Apple, but I don't think the problem is the browser, but the website.

I use Firefox...and still couldn't login.
I was finally able to by using the quick-link at the bottom of the index page.
I am still getting the error if I use the menu "login."

Mozilla just brings up a blank page, and when trying IE, I get the script error mentioned by Jay.

Ditto.

***Jay---I found this thread after I sent the e-mail......
