What the heck is Gilden-Fire? I saw this in the cover art gallery.

Welcome to The Watch, Dan.

Gilden-Fire is a "seperate" book, detailing the Bloodguard's mission to SeaReach. It was originally included in The IllEarth War, but was cut before publication. Later, after the success of the books, it was published as a seperate, supporting or ancilliary, book.

Yes, it's a good little read if you can get hold of it. It gives a nice insight into Lords Hyrim and Shetra and also allows you to see more of the bloodguard.

Daughter of Regals has been reprinted, and GILDEN-FIRE is in it. It's an amazing little book, imo.

I didn't get it until last Christmas, when someone bought me Daughter of Regals. It was very good.

I first read Gilden-Fire in a public library,
unknowing that it was an edited portion from Illearth War.
It was a book by itself and not in Daughter of Regals,
(Which I've yet to get a copy and read.)

That "book by itself" is one of my most prized possessions. :D
