EXTREMELY tentative plans to venture out of MT: Minifest?

My dad and I are going to be in Portland in the fall.. he'll be there for a convention and I'll be scoping out Reed and Lewis & Clark College. I'll get the exact date here shortly.
My mom and I are going to the east coast to check out more colleges (the ones I like more but am far less likely to get into
) in late October-ish... but that's not even close to definate. We're going to be near Boston, Philadelphia, and DC.
At some point we MIGHT get to Claremont, CA and/or St. Petersburg FL.
If anyone who lives around there would be up for lunch with me and a parental unit that would be very rad
I'll try and get more specific dates ASAP.

St. Pete's a bit of a drive from Gator Town (FL's a long state) but not super bad. Would touring UF be on your list?

Depends on how close to DC you are... there are a handful of Watchers in the region who might be able to make a date, and if we bug Jay enough, he'll show up, too.

We can have a wild and crazy party at my apartment, and drink some of my many beers.
And then when we're all nice and drunk, we can make grilled cheese sandwiches with potato bread. Hehe.

Keep us posted re: your DC plans, Claire -- I can bring my daughter along (she's a junior this year and will be starting that ol' college search pretty soon, too...).
