I saw Dukes of Hazzard and really enjoyed it. There, I said it. Wow, now I know what a Catholic confessional is like. BTW, Fun movie.

Yes it was fun, the critics who trashed it did not know what they were going to see, what did they expect? The Godfather? It was on par with Smokey and the Bandit - the kind of escapist fun all too absent in recent years-YEE HAWWWWWW.

While it was totally different from the feel-good goofball comedy of the original show, it was still a fun movie, imo. Of course, I'm a bit biased toward the car (hate the flag, love the Charger). The movie's Bo and Luke were somewhat lacking in intelligence and Willie Nelson couldn't have done Uncle Jessie with a gun to his head, but I thought it was well-enough done, for what they tried to make it.
Did I mention I love the car?
And yes, I was a fan of the original show. If anyone's interested, here's the original Cooter's (Ben Jones) opinion of the movie:

Hate the flag? Ahh, let's keep the Think Tank crap out of here, please. It's not like the flag is going to be a surprise to anybody who watched the TV show, anyway.
