I LOVED this movie.
I remember Dana Carvey saying on Letterman that he wanted to make a movie for his kids (I think the age range was 6 to 12 years old) that was just good clean fun.
And after seeing it this weekend with my own kids I have to agree.

First, it's dumb but it's a funny dumb.
It's supposed to be funny dumb.

His name is "Pistachio" in the movie.
I've been chuckling at that for 3 days now.

There's no swearing or sexual situations.
The worst violence is some slapping and some pitfalls.
And it's fine.
The bad guys (hired bodyguards) don't have guns but my kids still "got it" that they were a threat.

There's fart humor and all kinds of whacky stuff.
And for us Dad's with limited attention spans Jennifer Esposito is a total hottie!

I'd check it out and listen to your kids laugh while watching.
IMHO.

i loved the turtle guy, spent days saying turtle. my wife made me stop.

I remember reading a review of this in the generally reliable Total Film aaaages ago, and being vaguely amused by the character's name. Unfortunately, they gave the film the lowest conceivable score above zero.

Sorry, but I avoid Dana Carvey movies like the plague.

I agree with matrixman. My wife saw it with our niece and she likes goofy comedy, but not this one. I did like the line I saw from the commercial about not being turtle enough for the turtle club. I usedit on my wife for weeks....
