I was pleasantly surprised to find this forum. I am a big SRD and TC fan.
I first read the TC series in the early 80s, and recently read them again before launching into Runes of the Earth. All these books were such a joy to immerse myself into--both times.
Looking forward to reading more of the wonderful discussions here.

Myself, dANdeLION, Cheval, Prorider514 and Lord Absinth all live in the Tampa area and there are many more.
Technically I live in Valrico and dAN lives in Temple Terrace but its all pretty close.
You will find Kevin's Watch is very entertaining on many levels.

Welcome Lomillialor. I currently live in what I call Gator Town, because of the fascination in this town of the football team of the state university located here whose mascot is the Gators.

Ms. Mary, how close are you to Fort Lauderdale? I am always down that way for Pesach, and occasional four day weekends as well since FIL works on Fort Lauderdael beach.

Ft. Lauderdale is a reasonable driving distance from where I live, maybe half an hour on the highway, depending on what part. I go up there (and beyond) sometimes for this and that.

Having grown up in Hollywood, driving half an hour to go anywhere down there sounds typical. I'll PM you the next time we plan on coming down.
