Yeah, but they're Canadian films....
"Loverboy Story"
"My Dinner With Rik Emmitt"
"Anne Murray Hill"
"The Man From Alanis Morrisette"
"Strangers on a Shania Twain"
And, of course, "Rush".
I slay me.
I kid the Canucks, really.....

I mean Venice. The New Zealand film at Toronto is
The Worlds Fastest Indian. Filmed in my home town.

yah, OK, aside from the Canuck jokes (excuse me while I calm down by taking a drink of beer and splash some maple syrup on my back-bacon...

)... there are some gems here.
Yep, The World's Fastest Indian looks to be one to watch. Sir Anothony Hopkins can't seem to miss with any acting he does. The Matador is also a really good one. But the 'must-see' of the festival, in my humble opinion is "A History of Violence" by David Cronenberg. Stars Viggo Mortgenson (sp) and Ed Harris and Maria Bello. Astounding cast, story and direction. Comes out in general release (at least here) this Friday (sept.23).
Got to see a few 'stars' about town too!
