...spend all of my Sunday afternoon and evening doing hundreds of chemistry problems, memorizing a chapter of a history textbook, studying for English quizzes, and writing Spanish sentences.

'Nuff said.

LM - don't forget to never spend all of your Sunday afternoon and evening doing hundreds of chemistry problems, memorizing a chapter of a history textbook, studying for English quizzes, and writing Spanish sentences.

No, college is much better!! At least some of the classes are things you love. At least hopefully, since you chose that as a major.

Have you read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance? This issue is addressed in the book. (And yeah, I hadn't even considered Sabertooth! Lousy s.o.b.)

Good Lord man!
You finished in a day?
It took me three weekends.
At the end I vowed never to assemble a swingset ever again.
I could have had it done for me by the store for another $30.

My kids do use it though, thankfully.
But not with as much enthusiasm as the playground at the park.
Still, it's fun to see them use it in 6 -12" of snow.

I agree with Fisty - college is better. And Foamy (if she were still around) would agree, too. :D

LM, you're really in high school, or did I miss some inside joke? I always imagined you in your late 30's... :?

I always figured he was a little older, too, when I first met him - I figured college. :)

What grade did you say you're in, Mhoram?

Yeah, I get the feeling that LM's age was a shock to a lot of people...it sure was to me...(and that's obviously a compliment man...)

Before that thread in the Close, I also figured university at least, and put the mention of teachers and school down to self-depreciating humour.

Wait, he's in high school or reform school?
If it's reform school, and I suspect it is, he could very well be 25 years old!

:P
