Was it just a coincidence that Vector, who designed most of the Imunity Drug, ends up on Nicks Ship?

Or was it something set up :shifty: ?

Perhaps, that's how Hashi, or Warden decided which of their illegals they could trust with the imunity drug.

Kind of like Milos Tavener being Angus' second, but really his controller.
Maybe Vec was just there to make sure every worked out right with the drug.

I think it is stated in the books that Warden Dios was surprised (pleasantly so) that Vector was on Nick's ship. It was one of those Donaldson fortuitous bits of fate. Vector had no place to go, so despondantly he found himslef crewing for pirates -- the opposite of the type of people he worked for and was betrayed by...

Yes, Vector claimed several times that he sees Pirates as the good guys compared to the cops.

He made his connections with Pirates through his friend, Orn. The computer programmer at Intertect. Therefore, when the cops betrayed him and his company, he stuck with Orn because Orn had so few scruples.

Yeah but I'm sure that there's more Illegals out there than Angus, Nick or Darren.

Was it just fate that landed him with Nick, and the Imunity Drug?

yah, that is my opinion. 'Fate' or chance or whatever you wish to call it, is a wonderful 'tool' in fantasy stories. Without it, characters would never be in the right place at the right time... they would just be flying around in another ship as all the action happens around them. Boring! ;)
